Your Premium destination for moose hunting, woodland caribou hunting, and black bear hunting is Newfoundland.

Newfoundland is located on the east coast of Canada and is served by auto ferry and by air. To drive to Newfoundland, follow the Trans -Canada Highway from the eastern provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

At North Sydney, Nova Scotia, modern auto ferries operated by Marine Atlantic will take you to Port aux Basque, Newfoundland. Follow the Trans-Canada Highway all the way to our float-plane service base at Thorburn Lake. We will meet you at the boundary of the village of Port Blandford, adjacent to the TCH, and escort you to the float plane base. There, your vehicle will be kept in a secure area until you return.

We will provide all routing information from your home location all the way to the float plane base. If your vehicle is equipped with a GPS navigation system, you will be ahead of the game.

Air travel to Newfoundland is provided from many US and European cities by Air Canada and by West Jet, either alone or in concert with US and European service providers. If travelling by air, you can select either the town of Gander, Newfoundland, or the capital city of St. John's, Newfoundland as your destination. We will provide ground transportation to the float plane base from local hotels in both destinations.
